ExperienceThis - Reality or not ?

There was a huge jungle in a country. The jungle had many wild animals , some were dangerous such as Tiger, Lion where as some were friendly deer, rabbit etc. The jungle was known for its lush greenery and many types of birds also lived there. Whole ecosystem of the forest was very pleasant and there always used to be a certain type of calmness in the forest. The forest was so dense that in some places even it was difficult to find sunlight falling on the ground and there was always dark in those places.

The forest had a resort for the tourists. There was a safari trip planned in forest,  although they weren’t allowed to go to the core area. Core area generally was the area of dangerous animals and people were abandoned to go there for their security. It was only the forest staff who were allowed to go inside those areas and generally even they didn’t prefer to go there in the core area.

Once, a group of 5 adventurous friends came to the resort. The friends were fearless and they wanted to face something dangerous so as to bring ‘so called’ challenge in their life. They asked the forest guard whether they could enter the core. Forest guard replied ,  “No sir, You are not supposed to do that”. The boy who was considered the leader of the group named ‘Steve’ asked the guard ,  “Why are we abandoned to go there?”. The guard replied,  “Sir,  that area is the place of very dangerous animals like tiger etc and some are even man-eater!”. Steve tried to give him the bribe saying, “We will give you $500 extra if you let us go there.” Since the guard was poor man and after seeing such amount he agreed  to take them in core area in evening, as evening was considered best time for animal sighting.

In the evening,  they got put up their cameras,  suits and were ready to go for a ride in the core area. The passage to the core area used to be locked and key were generally used to be with the forest guards. The guard opened the passage and they took the vehicle inside. For first 30 minutes,  everything was normal and they were able to see wildlife in the fields and dense forest. But as the time passed,  so the sun began to set down. The wildlife began to decrease as they move further. There were many warning boards aside the road about the tigers. After some time,  the sun was set and forest guard asked the driver to take back the vehicle to the Resort but  Suddenly  Steve said, “We want to trip more, take this $500 more” and so after taking bribe the forest guard agreed to continue the trip. They were almost 30 miles away from their resort and it used to take around 1-1.5 hrs for one to travel 30 miles in forest. At around 8 P.M, they heard the voice of tiger roaring,  it was all so sudden that all got very afraid.The forest guard whispered ‘Please be quiet! else tiger will head to our way and we will be in trouble’. All sat quietly and followed guards instruction but unexpectedly the tiger came in front of their vehicle. Their heart started beating very fast,  and all were feeling like this will be their end. Tiger rushed towards the car and just hit it,  although nothing happened to anyone since they had their windows glass closed. Now the tiger,  didn’t stop and continued to hit the vehicle.  The tiger was pretty large in size and pretty healthy so he wasn’t getting much hurt after hitting car each time. Everyone inside started to pray for their life but the forest guard,  who had experience in jungle, was thinking of the way out.

Suddenly something clicked in his mind and he opened the door of the other side. Seeing this everyone was horrified and they were just looking at guard astonishingly. he told them to be calm and he is trying the way out. The tiger on the other side was just hitting the car till then hurriedly just beside the car these was a dry wood lying. He jumped at the wood and brought it inside, everyone understood what he was trying to do so they supported him. The driver had a bottle of kerosene oil in the jack box. The guard tore cloth from the seat cover and wrapped it around the corner of wood and then he poured kerosene oil on cloth and just started to find lighter. Steve had the lighter so he gave him and they burnt the wood forming a ‘torch’. Then the forest guard came out of the car along with the torch and started to walk towards tiger. The tiger tried to jump on him but luckily,  tiger got hurt in his right hand. Fearing of the fire the tiger started to go away. Seeing this the guard also followed him till 50-60 m. Then he rushed to the car holding the torch and asked the driver to immediately take the vehicle back. The driver with his best efficiency took the vehicle back to resort in the least possible time. After reaching the resort,  all were very happy and were praising the forest guard for his brain and bravery. Steve and his adventurous friends decided not to take any such risk in future.
